Race and Law Enforcement in the Urban Community

Race relations have taken on a heightened seriousness in recent months with high-profile cases of police incidents involving African-American men and women. In this forum, we’ll explore the causes and offer some solutions to improving the relationship between law enforcement and the African-American community. This will be the first of several forums that will examine different aspects of race relations in Michigan.
