2019 MAM Summer Workshop

Taking Charge of Your Community’s Future
Join your fellow mayors in beautiful Port Huron, along the St. Clair River in the easternmost point in Michigan. The city features a historic downtown area, boardwalk, marina, and the Great Lakes Maritime Center. Port Huron is also home to the Blue Water Bridge, a twin-span international bridge that connects the city to Point Edward, Ontario, as well as the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in the state.

At the Summer Workshop, you’ll hear about the revitalization of Port Huron, successful public-private partnerships, funding tools, and ways to successfully promote your community for tourism.  Come prepared to share success stories with your peers.  Dinner will be at the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse.

*Online registration is closed, onsite registration will be available.
