MML Testifies before Senate Finance Committee

Last week, the Senate Finance Committee took testimony on a package of bills which replaces the single business tax. The proposal would not fully replace the revenues lost with the elimination of the SBT and would eliminate all new industrial personal property from the tax rolls. The MML testified in opposition to the package. The bills, SBs 94-96, passed out of committee on a straight party-line vote and are now on the Senate floor.
