Michigan Municipal League Wins Multiple Awards for Magazine, Website
The Michigan Municipal League’s placemaking.mml.org website and Review magazine recently won awards in two separate marketing and communications-related competitions.
The placemaking.mml.org website was launched earlier this year and it received a Gold MarCom Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals out of Arlington, Texas. The website also earned a Gold Honorable Mention Award from the Michigan Society of Association Executives (MSAE).
Other awards that went to the League are a Gold MarCom Award for the League’s Review magazine (“Detroit Matters” issue), a MarCom honorable mention award for The Prosperity Agenda radio show (http://www.mml.org/radioshow/prosperity-agenda.html), and a Diamond Award from MSAE for The Review magazine.
League CEO & Executive Director Dan Gilmartin thanked League staff involved in the award-winning communication efforts during a recent League board meeting.
“As an organization the League believes it is essential to inform the public and our member communities in as many different ways as possible,” Gilmartin said. “One way is through more traditional methods, such as our print magazine and radio show, and another way is digitally, like we do through our website, mml.org. So it is truly an honor to get these vastly different communication tools recognized at such a high level.”
