Question:
We would like to participate in the Mayors Exchange program
this year. How do we get started?
Answer:
Registration may be completed by filling out the registration form found on the Michigan Association of Mayors website (http://www.mml.org/mam/) and returning it to the address given OR you may sign up on-line. You can also call Nikki Brown at (517) 908-0305. Once the form has been completed and returned, you will be paired with another city or village. Information on the website will assist you in arranging your exchange. For more information contact Nikki or visit the Mayors' website. It contains a lot of useful information.
Question:
When I try to download ordinances or One-Pagers Plus from the
League web site, the words are scrambled and sometimes all I can print
is gibberish. What does PDF Download Here mean?
Answer:
Many of the documents on our web site are saved in a Portable
Document Format (PDF). Adobe Acrobat Reader can be downloaded from the
Internet. This free, and freely distributable, software lets you view
and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. A link to the Adobe
site can be found at several locations on our web site, including the
cover pages for both One-Pagers Plus and ordinances. You can also go directly
to www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep.html.
The program will only need to be downloaded once. Then whenever you click
on PDF Download Here, Adobe Acrobat will automatically load
and convert the document to a readable and printable format.
