Question:
We received several solicitations from private companies to purchase posters for state and federal employer requirements. Can’t we get this information for free? 

Answer:
These posters are available for free but you have to call each individual agency to receive them. The MML does not track these laws and, in fact, we purchase our employment posters from a private company. If you want to take the time to get all of these posters for free, you can call these federal agencies: OSHA (312) 353-2220, Wage & Hour (312) 353-3858, and the EEO (312) 353-2713. The MIOSHA office at (517) 322-1809 will send you a list of all the Michigan agencies you need to call.
