Question:
What programs do other small cities use to encourage ethnic diversity in the community?

Answer:
We were able to provide statistics on ethnic diversity for other similar sized cities. We weren’t able to provide much information on how these cities address the problem. We do have an achievement award entry from Sterling Heights, “Cultural Diversity Programming.” Please provide us with information on what your city or village does to promote ethnic diversity. MML’s Education Service offers diversity sensitivity training. Contact that division at the League for more information on the next scheduled training or to schedule an on-site training session, designed specifically for your municipality.
