Beautification Committees

Question:
We recently appointed a beautification commission and would like project ideas from other communities.

Answer:
The MML Achievement Award entries have been entered into a database. A search of the database turned up a number of beautification programs: Sterling Heights’ beautification adoption program, Novi’s tree planting program, and Escanaba’s clean-up day proclamation. Some beautification commission ordinances include general responsibilities and the League can provide samples.
