Project Description: Install solar panels, outdoor LED lighting, building envelope improvements and other cost-effective measures to reduce energy consumption by 20%. Community Outreach will be used to educate Eaton County residents on ways to reduce home energy use.

Project Description: Conduct technical energy analysis of community services center. Update HVAC controls. Replace 28 parking lot metal halide lamps with LED lamps. Conduct public relations and education program of the benefits of LED lighting conversion.

Project Description: Install a water-to-refrigerant heat pump to capture heat in the wastewater treatment plant effluent to heat and cool the plant's admin bldg.  Capture methane gas generated throughout the wastewater treatment process to generate electricity.

Project Description: Obtain energy audits and retrofits for township buildings and demonstrate LED and solar lighting.  Amend Master Plan and Zoning Ordinance to increase non-motorized and public transport and LEED new construction.
