Project Description: Reduce energy consumption and GHG related to the operation of the courthouse and jail through implementation of 4 energy efficiency strategies in June 2009 TEA.

Project Description: Install the County's first renewable energy project: 20kW of made-in-MI solar energy installations on the roof of the Pinecrest Residential Facility. Highlight the installations as a demonstration of MI's solar industry, including sharing data.

Project Description: Conduct energy audits on Saginaw County municipal facilities and up to 10 municipal facilities of partner cities and townships within the County. Develop an EE, Conservation, and Renewable Energy Strategy, create revolving loan fund for upgrades.

EECBG Funding: $434,000

Project Description: Performance contract to install multiple energy saving measures at existing County buildings, including lighting retrofits to several buildings, building envelope improvements, and other mechanical retrofits.

EECBG Funding: $302,000

Project Description: Lighting retrofits to reduce energy consumption by 106,496 watts.  Develop multi-county energy efficiency plan.
