The Michigan Main Street Program at MSHDA is currently taking applications for communities to join at the Associate Level. The Associate Level is the introduction to the Michigan Main Street Program, providing communities with no-cost training available in Selected and Master Level Michigan Main Street communities across the state.
The intent of the Associate Level is to provide communities with a basic understanding and knowledge of the Main Street Four-Point Approach®. Additionally, communities learn the benefits and requirements of the Michigan Main Street program, in order to prepare for the Selected Level.
The Michigan Main Street (MMS) Program supports downtown and traditional commercial neighborhood districts through a specific approach that helps to put in place the tools and strategies to create vibrant 21st century communities. Interested communities have until April 28th to apply.
