The Michigan Department of Transportation has posted a list of "Frequently Asked Questions" on Complete Streets.
Michigan's Complete Streets legislation was signed into law last year as Public Act 135 of 2010. Since then some 40 communities have latched on to the Complete Streets concepts as a way of controlling the planning, design and development of local streets and roads
The League was, and is a supporter of complete streets as a way of providing access to all users and as a key element in creating a vibrant, 21st century community.
