The Detroit Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is hosting a workshop on Friday, April 1 titled "Making LEED-ND (Neighborhood Development) Happen in Your Community".
With years of experience in the LEED rating system for buildings, the USGBC is ready to bring the advantages of LEED to the community planning process. The workshop will feature top experts in the field, with practical strategies and tools for local officials, planners consultnats and others to begin implementing LEED-ND in their communities.
The workshop, will be held from 8 am to 5 pm at Lawrence Tech University's School of Architecture in Southfield.
