Spaces are still available for the "Sustainable Urbanism: Urban Design with Nature" course at the University of Michigan's Biological Station in Pellston, Michigan. The course is Wednesday June 16 through Sunday June 20 and is taught by Doug Farr of Farr Associates in Chicago, Illinois.
Participants will learn how to define and benchmark their community's sustainability through lectures, field surveys, and hands on workshops that apply the LEED Neighborhood Development rating system and the principles of sustainable urbanism.
