The ranking comes from Livability.com after a search of the 200 most livable cities in America. Of the 10 most surprisingly vibrant cities for foodies to flex their taste buds, it named Traverse City number one!
Taking note that TC has been called a new foodie haven by the Huffington Post, as well as being ranked second by Midwest Living magazine on its list of the regions best food towns, Livability.com says the key to Traverse City's claim to foodie fame is its "farm to table" philosophy and its abundance of award-winning restaurants, farmers markets, wineries and dairies
