The Michigan Humanities Council is now accepting applications for grants to support arts and humanities programs between April 1 and September 30, 2010. 

The grants will be awarded as part of Michigan's Arts and Humanities Touring Program .  Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis and can be for up to 40 percent of the cost of performances. Grants are awarded to schools, libraries, cultural centers, and nonprofit organizations. 

The Arts & Humanities Touring Program is a collaborative effort between the Michigan Humanities Council and the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs.
