Michigan lawmakers have introduced two resolutions expressing support for programs and policies that include the consideration of bicycle, pedestrian, and transit needs in the planning and development of transportation facilities.  House Resolution 187, introduced by State Representative John Switalski, and House Concurrent Resolution 34, introduced by Rep. Pam Byrnes urges the Michigan Department of Transportation to work with county and local road agencies to expand active transportation options across our state.
