I'm starting to feel like Bill Murray in the movie Groundhog Day  I wake up every year and the message is the same:  The Legislature proposes new cuts to state shared revenues; we can't raise taxes; blah, blah, blah. . . .   Every year, we continue to disinvest in our communities.  Every year that we choose to manage the decline rather than invest, we all lose!   There is enough data to sink a ship that says investing in our communities is the single most important thing that we can do to turn Michigan around economicallyThat includes making our communities safe (who wants to live in an unsafe community?)If we want to attract and retain college graduates who are essential to building a 21st century economy, then we need to invest in our communities.  If you are tired of the same old story and excuses, then make your voice heard Thursday in Lansing!!    http://www.mml.org/home.html
