Michigan Municipal League to Co-Host Midwestern Summit for Michigan Infrastructure Week

Discussion brings together Governor, mayors, state and national experts

LANSING, Mich. ― As part of the national Infrastructure Week, the Michigan Municipal League (MML) and Michigan Infrastructure and Transportation Association (MITA) are hosting the Midwestern Summit on Tuesday, May 14, starting at 8:30 a.m. at Lansing Brewing Company (518 E. Shiawassee Street, Lansing, MI 48912).to discuss the future of infrastructure in the state.

The free summit will be one of only four infrastructure summits across the nation during Infrastructure Week. MML and MITA will co-host the event, bringing in representatives and experts to discuss regional infrastructure strategy, financing and connectivity.

The State of Michigan was recently awarded the Worst Roads in America and was given a D+ overall grade in the 2018 Infrastructure Report Card from the American Society of Civil Engineers.
