‘Dark Stores’ Press Conference Tuesday

New Legislation on Dark Stores Property Tax Appeals Issue Set for Unveiling at Michigan Municipal League Capital Conference

What: State Legislators and Michigan Municipal League members will unveil and discuss reintroduced legislation that addresses the ongoing crisis of the “Dark Store” property tax appeals issue involving the Michigan Tax Tribunal.

Who: State Rep. Dave Maturen (R-Vicksburg), State Rep. John Kivela (D-Marquette), League Vice President Catherine Bostick-Tullius, Lapeer City Commissioner, and dozens of local municipal officials.

When: 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2017

Where: Lansing Center, 333 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, MI 48933. On the main stage in Banquet Rooms 1-8, during Michigan Municipal League’s Capital Conference.
