Michigan Certified Public Manager® Program partners with Michigan Municipal League
Saginaw, Michigan, June 14, 2012 – Saginaw Valley State University-Office of Continuing Education and Professional Development is pleased to announce its partnership with the Michigan Municipal League (MML) and providing the opportunity for national Certified Public Manager® certification.
This partnership is intended to provide MML membership with educational access to this nationally accredited program offered only through Saginaw Valley State University.
The Michigan Municipal League is the one clear voice for Michigan communities. Their goals are to aid them in creating desirable and unique places through legislative and judicial advocacy; to provide educational opportunities for elected and appointed officials; and to assist municipal leaders in administering community services. Their mission is that of a non-profit, but they act with the fervor of entrepreneurs to passionately push change for better communities and a better Michigan.
The primary goal of the Michigan Certified Public Manager® program is to foster and encourage the highest possible levels of performance and ethical practice of public and non-profit sector managers in order to effectively provide services and continuously improve the performance of state, local and federal government and of the non-profit sector.
We look forward to providing ongoing educational opportunities for the members of the MML and increase the number of nationally Certified Public Managers® in the state of Michigan.
