Ballot Proposal Session at Convention
This November, Michigan voters will decide the fate of Public Act 4 – commonly called the Emergency Manager Act of 2011. In fact, we could see several other proposals on the November ballot that could have significant impacts on local governments. Join fellow members at the Annual Convention, October 3-5 on Mackinac Island, for this important session on “Both Sides of the Ballot.”

Online Silent Auction
Help our communities by donating an item.
Contribute to the silent auction by bidding or donating an item. This annual event held at the League Convention, this year October 3-5 on Mackinac Island, presents a great opportunity to bring home unique gifts representing communities across Michigan, or you can highlight your community, local businesses, and local talent by donating an item. We will again offer the online feature to our auction process. You will have the option to contribute and bid for donated items online prior to the live silent auction event.
Funds raised through the MML Foundation's auctions help support the League's mission to enhance and develop leadership in local government. For more information on donating an item, call Deborah Walton-Medley at 734-662-3246.

We will identify a presenter that will address your community’s most urgent needs. Here is an example of one of our newest additions:
Customer Service Training
The function of any business, organization, association or government entity is to enhance the quality of life of those served. Names used to identify those you serve are patients, clients, customers, members, students, and tax payers or citizens. This Customer Service Seminar focuses on human relation skills. It is a motivational presentation that examines the various skills that impact the relationship with a customer and each other.
The League can put together most training topics as an on-site. All you need to do is ask! Please contact Katie Holda at 734-669-6352 or kholda@mml.org.
