Your one-stop spot for League events and educational training!
September 29, 2011
The League’s Annual Convention is next week in Grand Rapids and we are Taking It to the Streets during the final week of ArtPrize®, where you’ll see firsthand how arts and culture are transforming that city’s image on a worldwide scale. It’s the perfect backdrop for our message on Why Place Matters in building better communities for the 21st century. Our impassioned presenters are bringing a powerful message on how YOU can find your rhythm in today’s embattled economy.
We hope we will see you there for a great lineup of education, networking, and fun! To view the complete Convention program, click here.

The Michigan Green Communities Conference will provide local government and university leaders an opportunity to learn about cutting-edge environmental projects and policies from their peers and experts from around the state. Sessions will be structured in an interactive format that offers attendees an opportunity to learn from each other’s experiences and to brainstorm new solutions.
This conference will help local government and university staff gain knowledge of sustainability practices that work in the state of Michigan. It is brought to you in partnership with the Michigan Energy Office, the Midwest Regional Sustainability Network, the Michigan Townships Association and the Michigan Association of Counties.
