Michigan Municipal League Capital Conference Registration Now Open!

LANSING, Michigan - Registration is now open for the Michigan Municipal League's 2012 Capital Conference taking place March 20-21 in Lansing. This year's conference will focus on placemaking. Everyone is talking about the fundamental role placemaking plays in the economic revitalization of Michigan’s communities. But the economics of place has to start with the politics of place. Join us in Lansing March 20-21 to learn about all the key state and federal issues that will impact our communities in the year ahead.

Michigan Municipal League Capital Conference Starts Tuesday; Sessions Set on Medical Marijuana, State Budget Issue

LANSING, Michigan - With so much happening right now in Lansing, the Michigan Municipal League's annual Capital Conference couldn't come at a better time. The two-day Conference kicks off Tuesday in Lansing and more than 400 municipal leaders from throughout the state are expected to attend.

The event is packed with meaningful, timely sessions on everything from "How Do We Fix the State Budget Mess?" to the "Complete Streets" legislation and the controversial medical marijuana issue.
