Colloquium Lunch

As part of its strategic planning efforts, the Michigan Local Government Management Association (MLGMA) has selected to produce an educational video about the benefits of the council-manager plan. With the unveiling of a new video at the Convention, they are now taking a more proactive approach, bringing the message of their profession not only to local officials, but also to the “person on the street“ to highlight the role managers play in keeping communities safe, sustainable, and vibrant.

Boat Cruise

Thursday, October 2, 7:30 pm
The cruise ship will depart for the Mackinac Bridge at 7:30 pm. Your ticket includes desserts, wine, and entertainment (a portion of which is a tax deductible contribution to the Foundation). Space is limited so you are urged to reserve your spot on the Convention delegate registration form. Tickets are $25 and must be purchased in advance. Networking Lunch

You asked for it and you got it. We have included additional networking time during the Convention so that you can break bread with your peers. There will be no programming while you enjoy the legendary Grand Luncheon Buffet.
