Parade of Flags

Thursday, October 2, 8:30 am
Participate in this spectacular event and proudly show your colors with other officials from across the state. Carry your flag in the parade and leave it on display throughout the Convention. To participate, please check “yes” on the Convention registration form.

Fall Expo

Thursday, October 2, 10:45 am-3:45 pm
Visit the Fall Expo to meet with exhibitors offering specialized products and services to Michigan local government.

Meal Events

All guests of the Grand Hotel have breakfast, lunch, and dinner included in their room rate.

Guests of other hotels may purchase meal tickets on-site from the Grand Hotel's registration desk. Meal event prices are listed here to assist you in planning advances for the trip. These prices include tax and gratuity. Tickets can be purchased with cash, check or credit card.

The Awards Banquet is included for all registered attendees.

Elected Officials Academy

By attending the Convention you will earn four EOA Convention/Conference credits. You can earn even more leadership credits by volunteering at the Convention.

Guests

There are exciting tours and activities offered on Thursday and Friday for guests. By paying the guest fee, one is entitled to enjoy the receptions on Wednesday, admission to the tour events, and the Annual Awards Banquet.

Ferry Service To and From the Island

Arnold Transit is the exclusive carrier for the 110th Annual Convention and is offering a discounted rate of $21 per adult round trip to convention attendees. Attendees will also receive free overnight parking for each night spent on the Island.  Simply identify yourself as an MML Convention attendee at the ticket window.

Arnold is also offering a two-day pass for unlimited passage to and from the island, the cost is $37.50 per person.
