The City of Williamston, located in northeast Ingham County, is seeking a professional City Manager to serve as chief administrative officer. Requires minimum 5 years of experience in municipal operations and 3 years of supervisory experience as manager/assistant manager or department head. Plans, organizes and directs all municipal operations, budget and finance, economic development, planning/zoning, project management, infrastructure planning, capital improvements, evaluation and improvement of services, labor negotiations, intergovernmental and community relations. The City operates under a Council/Manager form of government. The City has 21 full-time and 3 part-time employees along with contracted services. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or related field is required, Masters is preferred.
