Description

1.Oversee all personnel and daily operations of the Village departments and services
2.Prepare and submit the annual budget to the Village Council; keep the Village financial affairs in good order and keep the Village Council advised as to the financial condition of Village
3.Represent the Village with representatives of government agencies
4.Make or oversee reports as the Council may require concerning the operation of Village departments
5.Attend all Village Council, DDA, and Planning Commission meetings

Candidates should have
•Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration or Business Administration and previous experience in local government administration. Equivalent experience will be considered
•Strong accounting, finance, and budgeting experience
•Grant writing experience

A starting salary will be negotiated depending upon qualifications; excellent benefits including vacation, sick leave, health benefits and a retirement plan are available.
