Governor Snyder and Speaker Bolger Speak to League Board Friday

Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and Speaker of the House Jase Bolger both spoke to the Michigan Municipal League Board of Trustees Friday. The governor spoke about his desire to partner with Michigan communities and said he understands there cannot be economic development unless Michigan has great communities. MORE>

Local Elected Leaders To Propose Government Reforms and Efficiencies at Media Roundtable – On Wednesday, January 26 the League will hold a Media Roundtable at the League’s Lansing office to respond to Gov. Snyder’s invitation to offer government reforms. The League will unveil its 21st Century Communities Legislative Proposal of reforms to reduce some local government costs and improve efficiencies.
