The Michigan Liquor Control Commission (LCC) has passed an administrative order updating the census numbers for all quota licenses. The quota licenses, and any other licenses that reference population numbers of a community, are issued based on the population of the community. This order uses the 2010 Census numbers as the new basis for the quota licenses. If your community has increased population, you may be due new liquor licenses that you can work with LCC to issue. Also note that if your population went down, the order states that any licenses already issued will not be forfeit. The order is attached.
