Workers comp bill heads to Senate

This afternoon the House passed HB 5002, a bill that makes changes to workers compensation. The bill wa slargely approved on party lines.

The bill adds more specific limits as to the amount of benefits an injured worker can receive as well as changes how benefits to workers will be calculated among other changes.
