This afternoon the House concurred on HBs 4309, 4311 and 4312, bills that amend the Urban Cooperation Act and corresponding statutes.

The final version of the bills were a compromise between the League and the public safety unions. The bills remove the language that nobody may be harmed and all employees must be transferred.

Additionally the bills provide protection for employees in the transfer as well as making the transfer process more workable for both employer and employee groups.

The bills head to the Governor for his signature.
