Update on Executive Order Hearing

As the State Budget Director Bob Emerson discusses all the cuts that Governor Granholm has in her Executive Order and fields questions from committee members, he point blank acknowleged that public safety will be greatly affected more so by the $40 million cuts in revenue sharing than by the cuts to the State Police budget.  Senator Cherry voiced her concerns with the cut to revenue sharing and the impact this will have on public safety.  More info to come...
