This morning the Senate Restructuring and Reforms Committee held a second hearing on PA 312 and the Urban Cooperation Act hearing testimony from the public safety unions.  The testimony was not surprising as they continuously argued PA 312 is working in its current form and there are no problems with the law in its current form. The committee did not vote on any of the bills as discussions are ongoing behind the scenes on amendments and other changes. It's important to contact your legislators to let them know it's critical to include ability to pay in PA 312 reform!
