Two-inch rule bill passes the Senate

This afternoon the full Senate is passed SB 1475 which would reinstate the long standing two-inch rule. The bill passed 33-5 demonstrating significant bi-partisan support.

Earlier this year the Michigan Supreme Court overturned the two-inch rule in the case Robinson v. City of Lansing. The bill now moves to the House of Representatives where the League will be working to move this issue quickly in the few remaining weeks of session.
