On Wednesday, August 3rd at 2pm, a free webinar will be held designed to assist rural communities with preparing to submit applications for the recently announced third round of TIGER grants. In order to participate, interested persons must RSVP by 5 pm on August 2nd.
The webinar, sponsored by the National League of Cities along with several other national organizations such as the American Public Transit Association, Smart Growth America, and Reconnecting America, will feature an overview of the TIGER program from USDOT Deputy Assistant Secretary Beth Osborne. A discussion of innovative rural transportation projects will also be part of the program.
