Well it wasn't pretty (again, much like the process in Lansing) and it certainly wasn't bi-partisan (again, like Lansing), but legislation meant to get our economy moving with $787 billion is finally on its way to the President. And whether or not one supports this idea, I think we're all hoping it works. As reported yesterday, it will mean close to $7 billion for Michigan over the next two years. Given this 1100 page bill was rushed through in less than 48 hours we're still not quite clear how its all gonna work, but let's just hope the state legislature and state departments don't create additional hurdles by trying to put their own stamp on the money before it goes out.
