Today Speaker Andy Dillon revealed a health care plan that would cover all Michigan public employees, including state and local governments and public schools, under a single statewide health insurance plan. The League issued a statement stating that while we believe government reforms are part of Michigan's long-term solution, failure to amend Public Act 312 would still exempt a number of employees -- the police and fire unions.  Stay tuned for more details on the Speaker's plan as they become available.
