This afternoon the Senate passed the General Government budget (SB 245) containing additional $96.9 million cuts to revenue sharing.  Thank you the Senate Democratic Caucus for standing together and voting against these devastating cuts for our communities. Senators Cherry and Jacobs gave impassioned floor speeches about the value of revenue sharing, and Senator Switalski led the way to the caucus vote as the minority vice chair for General Government.
