On Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. the Senate Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing on SB 1475, a bill that would reinstate the long standing two-inch rule with regard to sidewalks and municipal liability.

The introduced version of the bill will be substituted in committee to make sure the language proposed does in fact reinstate the two-inch rule which was overturned earlier this year by the Michigan Supreme Court in Robinson v. City of Lansing.

Thanks to Senator Kuipers for both introducing the bill and holding a hearing.
