Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19 the Senate General Government Subcommittee on Appropriations will meet to take up the budget which contains revenue sharing. As we reported last week, the House unveiled their plan to implement components of the Governor's recommendation. Now, we will see how the Senate is going to handle the Governor's recommendation. We have already been communicating with members of the House and Senate on the need to recognize existing and prior consolidation and shared service agreements - which was NOT included in the House bill. The full Senate Appropiations committee is poised to take up all the subcommittee budgets Wednesday and Thursday this week, continuing to move the budget process along. We will continue to keep you informed as this moves along. We are still in the beginning phase of this process and the details will certainly continue to change.
