Yesterday afternoon the Senate Local Government Committee reported SBs 485-492, bills that would prohibit minimum staffing requirements in charters or by ordinance or resolution.

The bills were amended to allow minimum staffing requirements to be bargained in the collective bargaining process.

This legislation will be taken up on General Orders on the Senate floor this afternoon.
