This afternoon the Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously reported SB 1475, a bill that would reinstate the long standing two-inch rule.  You can view the substitute adopted by the committee here: SB 1475.pdf (20.06 kb)

Earlier this year the Michigan Supreme Court overturned the two-inch rule in the case Robinson v. City of Lansing.  There will be several technical changes made on the Senate floor, and we expect the bill to be taken up by the full Senate next week.
