This morning the Senate Restructuring, Reforms and Reinventing Committee reported SB 7, a bill that would require a 20 percent health care premium share for public employees.

The bill contains an opt out for local units of government with a 2/3 vote of the governing body. It is expected the bills will be taken up on the Senate floor in the upcoming session days.
