The substitute bill applies to all communities (as introduced it applied only to Kent County) and provides another tool that communities may use to share services.
At the adjournment of the hearing Senator Jansen indicated that next week he will be taking testimony on the House-passed Urban Cooperation package (HBs 4309-4312) next week. The League has continued to push for this legislation in addition to the Municipal Partnership Act.
