LANSING, Michigan - Thursday mornng at 9 a.m., the Michigan State House Local, Intergovernmental, and Regional Affairs committee will be taking additional testimony on HBs 4148-50 and HB 4538. Last week, there was only limited testimony due to session time being changed. These bills do a variety of things, including create a revolving fund and use water quality bond money to fund the revolving loan fund, for communities who used certain special assessments to build infrastructure that wasn't developed. The League opposses these bills and will be testifying on Thursday.
