Several communities have been passing resolutions opposing SB 34 (elimination of the personal property tax) unless it includes replacement revenues for municipalities. 

For those communities interested in passing a resolution and looking for a sample resolution to use, the League is happy to provide a resolution from the City of Wixom that other communities can use as a model.  Please remember to send this resolution to your State Senator and State Representative (and the members of the Senate Finance Committee once it has passed!
