The City of Adrian DDA has passed a resolution that calls on the Legislature to retain the Brownfield and Historic Tax Credits in the new tax plan.  The resolution has passed the DDA and will be before the City Council on Monday.

Other communities wishing to pass a resolution calling on the Legislature to retain the Brownfield and Historic credits can copy this resolution, but insert information about their own community.  The first and last paragraphs are generic and can be used for all communities. The middle should have information about the impact of the credits specifically in your community, and about the potential problems if the credits are eliminated without a workable alternative.

The sample resolution can be found here. The League also has a resource page for information on the Governor's budget and tax plan which can be found here
