I got an email, about 30 minutes ago that starts out "Sorry about the short notice ..."
I know, not always a good sign, but this actually is pretty good.
The folks over at SEMCOG (Southeast Michigan Council of Governments) are putting on a special informational meeting on the latest information about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) - also known as the Federl Stimulus Package. They will cover the water, sewer, energy efficiency, green infrastructure and transporation portions of the Act.
It's scheduled for March 5, 2009 from 9AM - 12PM at the SEMCOG Offices (Buhl Building, 535 Griswold St, Suite 300, Detroit, MI, 48226)
They have arranged for representatives from the DEQ and the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor, and Economic Growth (MDELEG) to be available to answer questions about how the federal dollars will be distributed through their departments.
