So it appears that revenue sharing is on the table for cuts even after legislators around the state have been talking about it being a "last resort." The Governor unveils an Executive Order tomorrow and it is expected that we will be cut approximately $40 million, which is equivalent to about 1/3 of the last two payments. Not good for communities, so call your legislator and tell them to reject any proposal that disinvests in our communities. We are currently planning a press conference tomorrow to protest this short-sighted and destructive proposal.
